Lendlease lends a hand

12 Lendlease employees spent their day assisting a community project at Perth Airport with Foodbank.

They worked hard on multiple jobs including packing vegetables, making food hampers and helping recycling efforts.

Foodbank WA is one of 130 worthwhile causes in Australia receiving a helping hand from Lendlease employees, as part of its annual Community Day.

Now in its 23^rd year, Community Day enables Lendlease employees to work alongside their colleagues, community partners, families and suppliers to make a difference in the communities where they live and work.

“We are thrilled that Lendlease has chosen to support Foodbank WA again this year, to help provide meals to the most vulnerable members of our community,” Foodbank WA CEO Greg Hebble said.

“More than 94,000 West Australians a month rely on food provided by Foodbank WA and our charity partners, and it wouldn’t be possible to feed as many people as we do without the help of corporate volunteers.”
