Healthy Food for All Abilities is on the Move

Heading to regional Western Australia

Our Healthy Food for All Abilities program is in high demand, running several programs in regional Western Australia. The program was recently delivered in Bunbury and was well received by locals with disability. In November the program will be in Geraldton and the Wheatbelt, plus heading to the Goldfields in 2023.

The interactive food literacy and nutrition education program is designed to empower people with disability and their support workers with skills to enable them to choose and prepare healthy food.

Running over four weeks, the program offers two hour long sessions that include a 30-minute nutrition educational activity and a hands-on cooking session learning new recipes before sitting down to enjoy a meal they have cooked together

The Healthy Food For All Abilities program has had really positive feedback since starting earlier this year.

Recent program graduates enjoyed connecting with new people and have planned a trip to the zoo following the program.
