Empty Bowls 2022

Thank you for an amazing fundraiser!

Empty Bowls, one of the most popular feel-good events in Perth was back in 2022 for the 8th year in a row taking place at Christchurch Grammar School on Sunday, 21 August.

Historically session times sell out very quickly, but this year was a record, with tickets selling out in only eight days!

White Peacock Studios host this unique event and all donations come directly to us at Foodbank WA to help Western Australians doing it tough.

The unique event sees potters from across WA create and donate wonderful bowls which ticket holders pick out on the day of the event from a sea of stunning hand-made bowls. On the day of the event, you not only get to take one home but you also receive a serving of soup and bread! As in previous years, there were extra bowls available for purchase on the day, along with entertainment and live auction items are up for grabs.

Thank you to Empty Bowls for raising a huge 48,000 meals for Western Australians in need and to the sponsors who generously donated soup, bread, ingredients and other essentials.

This year Empty Bowls broke last years’ fundraising record for the event, raising a huge $24,003.30, which is equivalent to just over 48,000 meals for Western Australians in need.

Thank you to all of those who came and supported the event, together we can change lives one meal at a time.
